Blue Mountain Wildlife Rehabilitation Center
Blue Mountain Wildlife Center is a volunteer, non-profit organization whose purpose is to take orphaned, sick or injured wildlife, primarily birds of prey, and provide the care needed to return them to their natural habitats. They also provide educational programs featuring several raptors to schools and the public in an effort to increase public awareness of raptors and their role in the environment. We recently attended an Open House at their Pendleton, OR. facility, touring their site and watching several demonstrations by the birds there. This is an extremely interesting facility for anyone interested in wildlife.
