Northwest Bounty slide show (40) Our "Northwest Bounty" gallery showcases the variety of crops grown in the Northwest. This area truely has a "bounty" of crops. The Yakima Valley is a top producer of hops, apples, and wine grapes, plus cherries, peaches, pears, apricots, asparagus, corn, potatoes, onions, mint, and an assortment of other fruits and vegetables. Moving south, the lower Yakima valley and Horse Heaven Hills support even more crops, including hay, wheat, canola, and grass seed, as well as numerous acres of vineyards which account for the area's growing wine industry.
Steam And Smoke slide show (36) Our "Steam and Smoke" collection offers a glimpse of the past with steam locomotives, railcars of the past, and other railroad memorabilia. Many of these antiques are on display at the Yakima Valley Rail and Steam Museum in Toppenish, Washington. Others are located throughout the Northwest in museums and railyards, serving as a reminder of the way train travel used to be.
Waves Meet The Shore slide show (16) Our "Waves Meet The Shore" gallery is filled with shots showing our love of the beach. The Pacific Ocean provides a variety of coastal scenes in Washington, Oregon, and British Columbia, from rugged shorelines to smooth beach sunsets.
